My name is Amber and I am 26. I live in Michigan and I have a 4 year old daughter. I love music, fashion, photography, psychology... I strive to understand why people do the things they do and why people are the way they are... I have an amazing job, family and friends and I love them all very much <3!!! I just want to show the world that I started with nothing, and I have struggled a lot more than I would like to admit!!! Francesca Woodman: Retrospective

When Francesca Woodman leapt to her death at the age of 22, she had only been a photographer for five years. Yet critics praised her blend of “mythology, literature, painting and photography” and marveled that she “had the rarest link with her medium.” On Thursday, Francesca Woodman’s retrospective will open at the Guggenheim, featuring 120 photographs and six newly discovered short films. - Gothamist

transsuccess:  Roni Lachowicz is a 25 year old transgender vegan from a small town in the north of Poland called Kwidzyn, who deals with body piercings and modifications .   Roni has a split tongue, implants in her skin and scarification lines under her chest.  She is also a crossdresser.  Roni is the first Polish person, probably one of the first in the world, who tattooed her eyes.  In addition, she is very fond of scarification and other heavy modifications to the body. Due to this interest, she has become a remarkable tattoo artist and body modifier. She left her country at the end of august 2010 and currently is in London.  Roni has undoubtedly one of the most extreme form in Poland.  She began with her own eyes, then moved to the eyes of friends.  The more complicated the procedure and the more unusual the better.  She loves clothes and hand-making all kinds of gadgets, such as hats or albums.  In her spare time she taught drawing. Privately, Roni is a very warm, positive and open person. The problem was that no studio in Poland offered what I wanted to get done, so I had to do most of it myself. It’s the best way of getting to know your body.
